Sarah Crow Understands Real Estate Because She’s A Real Estate Investor Herself.
As a native Oklahoman, Sarah has been in and around real estate in one way or another for most of her life. Having grown up with family members who invested and managed a small portfolio of rental homes, Sarah was taught early in life that real estate is and always will be one of the best investments she could make for her future. So becoming a real estate investor was pretty much a no-brainer decision for Sarah.
Having followed in her parent’s footsteps, Sarah got into real estate investing in her late twenties after buying her first real estate investment property for only $40,000.
While it’s been a few years since Sarah first began building her portfolio of single family rental properties, she still owns that first vintage unit that she fixed up and rented out. Today, Sarah’s rental portfolio includes seven single family properties—two of which are vintage units—and she and her husband have plans to add several more properties in the coming years.
As a real estate investor and an entrepreneur, Sarah’s passionate about being a part of the solution. And she loves helping other real estate entrepreneurs find, embrace, and adopt the many different solutions that are available to them that can help them save time, close bigger and better deals, and grow their business faster and easier than they could do on their own.
From Fine Arts to Real Estate — Getting To Know Sarah.
While real estate has been a big part of Sarah’s life, the arts will always be a passion of hers.
Most people who’ve met Sarah after college are surprised to learn that she has a Bachelors in Fine Arts, since it’s a bit different from her career in real estate. But, what might surprise people even more is that she’s currently pursuing a second degree on the other side of the spectrum in Business and Economics.
Sarah—who’s an avid learner both inside and outside of the classroom—has the rare gift of being equal parts creative and logical when it comes to her thinking styles. This gives her the unique ability to seamlessly shift from a creative major like Fine Arts, to a more analytical major such as Business and Economics. And, since real estate investing requires both creativity and logic, Sarah’s a natural fit!
Coupled with her love for learning, a motivated personality, and her out of the box thinking, it’s no surprise that Sarah ended up becoming an entrepreneur. After all, most real estate entrepreneurs like us are rebels who refuse to be put in a 9-5 box!
Building A Career After College
Sarah graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and $30,000 in debt. While art may have been what she went to school for, Sarah went a completely different direction when it came to selecting her first career path after graduation.
It didn’t take Sarah long to realize that the term “starving artist” was coined for a reason. After all, making a decent income in the world of Fine Arts is hard to come by at the start of any artist’s career.
Pursuing art exclusively wasn’t a luxury that Sarah could afford out of college since she needed to be able to support her living expenses and that hefty student loan payment that was immediately due after she graduated.
This led Sarah to look for other career opportunities, which included careers in and around real estate. Something that there was plenty of in Oklahoma.
Sarah’s first career out of college was as an Account Manager at LMS Investment Management, where she worked for three years before taking a position in the Venture Capital and Private Equity sector as a Project Manager. Later Sarah gained extensive leadership experience in Single Family Property Management where she was a Customer Service Manager at Main Street Renewal for five years.
It wasn’t until Sarah got married and became a mom, (more on this in a moment), that she began building her real estate investment portfolio, which would eventually lead her to fit in perfectly here at RealEstateInvestor.com.
Love, Family and Buying Houses
Family is important to Sarah, who is a loving wife and a mother of two amazing children.
Sarah met Wade—her husband—back in high school, but they weren’t the typical “High School Sweethearts” love story. Their story began after a chance runin with a taxicab in New York City that doesn’t go quite like you might think it would…
Following graduation, Sarah and Wade, who were casual friends that ran in the same circles, both went off to pursue Fine Art Degrees on different sides of the continent. Sarah joined the Bronchos at the University of Central Oklahoma, and Wade went to the School of VisualArts (SVA) in New York City.
But a chance taxicab accident—which is more commonplace in New York City than one might think—ended up sending Wade home one summer to his parents house to have surgery.
That summer was all that Sarah and Wade needed to get reacquainted, begin dating, and fall in love. And the rest was history…
Eleven years, a marriage, two children, and several cities and states later, Sarah and Wade are raising their little family together and building up their rental portfolio in Oklahoma City.
Being A Female Real Estate Investor—Part Of The 30%.
When it comes to her career, Sarah is proud to be a female real estate investor in an industry where women only make up an estimated 30% of the share of real estate investors in the U.S.
Thankfully, that trend is rapidly closing as more women are beginning to see the freedom that can be found in real estate investing. In addition, more real estate agents, of which a large percentage are female, are beginning to see the importance of the Hybrid Real Estate business model.
Sarah shared about her passion when it comes to wanting to see more powerful female real estate investors rise up in this industry:
There aren’t enough women real estate investors, and that’s something I hope to see change in the next few years.
So—to all of you women out there who crave freedom and are tired of working a 9-5 job, tired of not being able to spend quality time with the people you love, and are ready to do something amazing for your future—real estate investing could be the key that unlocks all of those doors for you.
If you’re motivated, self-driven, consistent, action oriented, and if you like to help people solve problems, then you might be a good real estate investor. Whether you’re flipping houses, wholesaling, building a rental portfolio like I’m doing, becoming a private lender, or partaking in any of the many other forms of real estate investing, the opportunities in this industry are far and wide open.
There’s so much potential for women, wives, and moms to build strong real estate businesses that enable them to build generational wealth and live the life they deserve.
I’m proud of being a woman real estate investor, and I’m excited that I get to be a part of a company like RealEstateInvestor.com that wants to help more women build up their own real estate investing businesses too.

Team Spotlight – How to Avoid Landmines… with Coach Wilts Alexander
Wilts Alexander is a Performance Coach in our REInvent Coaching Program where he helps real estate entrepreneurs embrace their roles as CEO’s of their business, and bridge the gap between where they are today and their ambitions for the future. Wilts is a recognized leader in the field of organizational transformation and leadership development where he has devoted his career to mastering the art and science of coaching executives and business owners for the past 30+ years, including executives at Procter and Gamble, Coca-Cola Company, Ford, and the University of Alabama.
We had the chance to interview Performance Coach Wilts Alexander and get a sneak peek into the life of a performance coach here at RealEstateInvestor.com. Wilts opened up about his career in coaching and leadership development, his start in real estate investing, and what all successful 7-figure Real Estate Entrepreneurs have in common with one another.
Want to know the key to finding success in any business? Keep reading because Wilts reveals it all.
A Heart For Leadership Development and Coaching…
Wilts has been helping to build and shape leaders for more than three decades, and has been on our REInvent Coaching Team for two years now. His coaching style and coaching expertise allow him to be very effective in working to help real estate entrepreneurs own their roles as CEO’s of their business, and bridge the gap between where they are today and their ambitions for the future.
Wilts has a long list of leaders he’s coached throughout his 30+ year career, including executives at Procter and Gamble, Coca-Cola Company, Ford, and the University of Alabama. He’s a recognized leader in the field of organizational transformation and leadership development, where he has devoted his career to mastering the art and science of coaching executives and business owners across three continents.
Smart Leaders Learn From Other People’s Mistakes…
Coach Wilts started his career in private lending and became a real estate investor over 30 years ago when he purchased his first rental property—a duplex. Since then he’s gone on to invest in multiple office building and vacation rentals deals both in the US and Internationally.
Wilts admits to learning the ins and outs of real estate investing the hard way, since RealEstateInvestor.com and the REInvent Coaching program didn’t exist three decades ago.
He believes that both our services and our coaching program could have helped him avoid many of the rookie mistakes new real estate entrepreneurs often make. Those experiences didn’t go to waste though, as he uses lessons he learned the hard way to help the real estate entrepreneurs he coaches today.
We asked Wilts which strategy he’s using today when it comes to real estate investing, and here’s what he had to share.
“Being a real estate investor has never been my primary business. It has always been a passive income piece of my diverse portfolio.” – Wilts Alexander shares about his experience and his current personal approach for investing in real estate.
Building Passive Income Through Real Estate Investing…
Since Wilts is a full-time business coach, he takes a more passive approach when investing in real estate, preferring to be the private money for other investors, or buying and holding properties that appreciate and that can be used as both long term and vacation rentals.
“For me very simply, I found properties where there was a scarce resource. For example, lakefront properties are some of my favorite investments.”
The key for his strategy is to purchase properties that appreciate over time. This provides him with a safer investment long-term. Wilts shared with us how instead of renting when building his house, he opted to purchase a property he could later rent out. He did that for fifteen years.
“It’s a safer investment for what I’m going for… It’s not going to lose value. If it does lose, it’s going to come back quicker than anything else.” – Wilts shares.
Also, by buying a vacation property in a popular location, Wilts and his family had the ability to utilize their own vacation rentals for family vacations and fishing trips, which are among his family’s favorite pastimes.
A Day In The Life Of A Performance Coach
Wilts begins his day with a prayer, meditation, and worship.
“I want to keep in mind I’m blessed and fortunate, and I want to be thankful for that. RealEstateInvestor.com has given me an opportunity and a platform for what I’m very passionate about.”
After preparing for the day mentally, he blocks out time for different tasks. He admits he begins with things he may need more time for, or things he may like the least. Writing and putting together presentations are typically done early, before moving on to preparing for coaching sessions. This may include reviewing audio or video from past sessions to doing research or preparing new assignments.
Coaching sessions are done one-on-one and can last anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour depending on the member’s needs that day.
“There is a difference between consulting and coaching. A consultant provides solutions to the problem.” Wilts shares.
As a coach, Wilts helps clients do the hard work to come up with solutions to the problems they are facing.
“I listen enough to help them understand what the real problem is. Is the problem in business execution? Is the problem in planning? Are they procrastinating? I work on that from the content of the problem to get to the root cause and then solve it.”
The best way to do this is by getting into the action. If a member has a fear of talking to sellers, Wilts has them role play. Walking through the scenario helps identify the root cause and work towards fixing it.
“A coach can only be effective if the player is in action.” – Wilts Alexander shares about the necessity of active coaching.
Since Wilts has been instrumental in applying techniques to develop high performance organizations and leaders for decades, he’s learned a thing or two about what works and what doesn’t.
One of those tools he’s found to work the best is getting his coaching clients into action. Whether it’s through role playing, talking it out, writing it out, or doing something physical, people tend to learn through action much more effectively than they do through being verbally told how to do something or what to do.
“What is most effective is not telling them how to do the job, it is seeing them do the job and helping them be more effective.”
The Stumbling Block Most Real Estate Investors Run Into
Newer investors initially have difficulties blocking time, setting a plan, and focusing on executing it. While they may want to earn 7-figures and they may say they want to invest in marketing and making calls, the truth is they often procrastinate in actually making that happen. Sometimes they can’t find the time to do it, or they simply have a fear of doing the necessary tasks.
A lot of times people use cost as a block that keeps them from investing in both marketing and the software and services that can help them scale their business, which in turn holds them back from growing altogether. It’s a cyclical process that coaches help to root out and fix.
The Key To Success Is To Know Your Numbers.
As a coach, Wilts identifies this by simply talking numbers and data. Numbers don’t lie. During each coaching session, assignments are set, and members are held accountable for keeping record.
The scorecard we use for REInvent Members is a great tool to track performance, but members can use whatever tool works best for them. The key is that they need to know their numbers.
“To be a success in this business, the thing that differentiates real successful entrepreneurs from the ones who are not, are the ones who know their numbers.”
You Can’t Achieve Success Without Taking Action.
Wilts helps members commit to planning, understanding their numbers and their data, and managing their time better to achieve the results they desire. This is where it all begins. After that though, it’s up to them to follow through on their commitment by taking action.
After all, both knowing their numbers and being willing to take action are two major keys to finding success as a real estate entrepreneur, according to Wilts who quoted longtime friend and fellow REInvent coach Willie Hooks who always says:
“Learning is just entertainment unless they take action.”
Why Real Estate Investors Should Invest In Coaching
We asked Wilts to give us some feedback on why real estate investors need coaching and why they might want to consider joining our REInvent Coaching Program. Here’s what he had to share:
“You can become the kind of person you want to be, have the lifestyle of an entrepreneur, or you can go out and do what we did. Work your way through the landmines the hard way. I stepped on 99% of them. I’m still whole, but I can save you from stepping on them too. This is what we bring to you when you join the REInvent Coaching Program. You can figure out how to achieve success in real estate investing, and you could piece-meal your business together by yourself in terms of processes, systems, and tools. Or you can use what’s here and start making money today. For me, it’s a no brainer. The value of the time saved by not trying to recreate the wheel shouldn’t be underestimated.” Wilts shares.
Coach Wilts Works Hard, But He Plays Hard Too.
Living in Orlando, Florida with his family, Wilts enjoys boating and fishing. He makes time each day to go for a walk or take a bike ride outdoors. His family enjoys traveling across the US, visiting national parks, touring museums, learning history, and seeing some of the places this great country has to offer.
This year, Wilts plans to do even more sport fishing than last year. And hopefully he’ll even catch a marlin with his son!
A Big Thank You To Coach Wilts Alexander!
We’re grateful to have amazing coaches like Coach Wilts Alexander on our team here at RealEstateInvestor.com.
Thank you Coach Wilts for taking the time to let us interview you, and for being such a shining light to all of our members!
Team Spotlight – Gary Boomershine
As the founder of RealEstateInvestor.com, Gary Boomershine is on a mission to revolutionize the real estate industry and reinvent how real estate entrepreneurs do business today. As an innovative problem solver and industry leader, Gary is passionate about providing unique solutions to industry challenges that hold real estate entrepreneurs back from scaling their businesses and finding financial freedom.
“I have a personal passion for working with real estate entrepreneurs to help them become financially free in their business and in their personal life by using real estate as the vehicle.” —Gary Boomershine shares.
A Family Legacy In Business
Considered a ‘surprise baby’ born to his parents who were in their late thirties, Gary was the youngest of four children. He was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, and comes from a long line of successful entrepreneurs. With a goal of being able to have more time to spend with his four children, Gary’s father made the hard decision to close the family printing and manufacturing business a year after Gary was born. Since his father already had strong relationship building skills, he decided to try his hand in real estate and quickly found that he had a knack for it. This was the early beginning of Boomershine Realtors. While Gary was growing up he watched many of his siblings get their real estate licenses straight out of high school so they could take their place in the family business. With more of an interest in adventuring, playing video games, playing soccer and causing trouble, Gary didn’t see himself being a real estate agent holding open houses. He was more interested in building software solutions and inventing stuff. An interest that would be soon tabled and put on pause when Gary was just 14-years old. An Early Lesson in Perseverance and Faith Gary can still remember the day he found out his father had cancer. He came home from what was a typical day in the 8th grade for him, only to sense that something wasn’t quite right. A family meeting later that evening with all of his siblings present confirmed those feelings. That’s when he found out his father had an advanced stage of Leukemia.“While I couldn’t fully comprehend everything at the time, I knew it wasn’t good. Cancer was never good. And losing my dad was something I didn’t even think would be a possibility up until then. From that day on, my mindset changed drastically, and I grew up fast. While I couldn’t control the fact that my dad was sick, or the fact that his life now had an expiration date looming in the near future, I could control my actions. From that day on, I became a straight-A student. I worked hard to not add to my parent’s stress or worries in any way. And I began serving my family wherever I could.” —Gary shares regarding his thoughts and his mindset after learning his father was sick. With all hands on deck while his father was receiving treatments, all of the Boomershines helped fill in the gaps in the family business where they could. Adult children with real estate licenses took over the open houses and client meetings. The younger siblings helped with basic administrative tasks. But, business began slowing down and they realized that this was because their father was unable to go to his usual networking and meeting spots to drum up new business and referrals.
“We had to find a way to get clients to come to us, since my dad couldn’t go out and be at all of his usual networking and meeting spots. This is where our grandfather’s old printing presses came into play. This was around the mid-80’s when direct mail had just started coming up. Most people didn’t understand this form of advertising, but we all put our heads in the game as a family to figure it out. And we did just that. We fired up my grandfather’s printing presses and began printing direct mailers and letters to drive his business and to reach out to his clients. Every Saturday morning all of us would be in the garage working the printing presses and stuffing envelopes… And the clients started rolling in. This was my first introduction into direct mail—at the age of 14-years old—which became a huge part of my business later in my career.” Gary shares about his family’s resourcefulness and his first introduction to direct mail.Over the next several years, Gary’s parents taught him what it meant to have a firm foundation of faith, and how to persevere through hardship and trials. All of which helped Gary to grow and mature not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually too. Here’s what Gary had to say about his parents and what he learned from them.
“My mother taught me how to be kind, loving, and honest. How to love others, no matter their differences, and to give generously. My father taught me the importance of honoring your word and doing whatever it takes to get the job done. He taught me what makes a man a good man, how a leader should lead, and how to work through my emotions when the situation gets tough. Through the next four years I learned a lot about pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, and working hard even when I didn’t feel like it. All of which prepared me early on for my future.”Stepping Out Of His Comfort Zone When Gary graduated high school, he followed the family tradition, got his real estate license, and joined Boomershine Realty part time. While he was doing this to help his family, it wasn’t the dream he had for the long term and his parents both knew this. Even though medical bills had been piling up, his parents still insisted that Gary go to college using the funds that they saved for his tuition. Even after enrolling at the University of California Davis, Gary struggled with accepting the tuition money that his parents sacrificed to save for him, and often offered to get a student loan so his parents could use his college fund to pay off medical debts. During our interview, Gary shared some of the humbling words his dad shared with him the first time he brought up the subject of getting a student loan.
“My dad would say, ‘Gary—you work as hard as you can, and get the best education you can get. And I’ll stay alive long enough to pay for it.’ And he did just that. He passed away shortly after my college graduation, but he did see me get married to my wife of now 26 years. But the way he fought for every day he had on earth with his family, solidified his place in my list of ultimate heroes and role models to look up to.” Gary shares. This was also one of the early noteable lessons that helped to instill the importance of financial freedom into Gary’s personal values that he has to this day. From Computer Engineering To A Near 180… Gary graduated from The University of California Davis with a degree in computer engineering, where he then left the family business to become one of two students recruited to Accenture—formerly called Andersen Consulting, one of the top consulting firms in the world. While there, he gained invaluable experience working in executive level enterprise software sales and consulting, that helped him to become a great problem solver and an expert in business process automation. From Accenture, Gary went on to build four successful software startups from the ground up, where he learned a good deal about leadership and team building, as well as the importance of building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships. Relationships that have spanned multiple decades and across multiple ventures, many of which he still has to this day. While Gary has always been passionate about his career in software, it grew increasingly obvious that his work-life balance was far from where he wanted it to be. With a loving wife at home and two beautiful daughters growing up before his eyes, he knew he wanted more time to spend with his young family. And after having earned 180,000 frequent flyer miles in a single year, and feeling increasingly tired of being away from his girls, Gary knew it was time to make a change. So He Returned To Real Estate… Kind of… In 2004, Gary decided to start a business and career in real estate investing, which also led him to become the co-founder of Wealth Classes for an Inc500 Fastest Growing Company, and its flagship product—The Bankers Code. With his prior extensive experience in real estate and marketing, a degree in computer engineering from the University of California Davis, and his extensive experience in business process automation and consulting, Gary found that he had a knack for staying in front of emerging real estate trends and helping business leaders grow and flourish without sacrificing their personal lives. And this helped him decide it was time to look at doing more in the industry… The Beginning Of Something Great. While he was investing in real estate, Gary never veered too far from software… Gary saw his vision for RealEstateInvestor.com early on after noticing a glaring opportunity to leverage people, processes and technology to gain a leg up in the changing and competitive real estate investment marketplace. This vision led him to launch SalesTeamLive in 2005. While SalesTeamLive was initially launched as a direct mail service provider it soon grew into something more when Gary began piloting a software and services model in his own real estate investment business. Soon Gary noticed that automating simple processes with software and delegating what he calls “$10 per hour tasks” to outsourced teams, enabled him to save time while working smarter, not harder. This also allowed him to focus on the tasks that made the most money, like talking to sellers, making offers, closing more deals, and growing his business. All of which are part of RealEstateInvestor.com’s business model today.
“Most investors limit their growth and many times fail because they lack real marketing and sales expertise along with the infrastructure to scale their business. Instead of being able to focus on closing deals and maximizing profits, they hit a wall trying to build and do everything themselves; and they simply can’t do it!” —Gary shared what motivated him to build RealEstateInvestor.com.Launching RealEstateInvestor.com With a shared services concept that filled a major industry need, Gary’s company grew from SalesTeamLive and then REIvault, into what is today called RealEstateInvestor.com. RealEstateInvestor.com has gone on to become Inc. 500’s Fastest Growing Company three years in a row. Positioned and ready to start a technological revolution in the real estate market, Gary’s company grew even larger over the past year by merging with automation expert of InvestorPO to offer some of the best in class automation solutions and services for real estate entrepreneurs who want to scale their businesses faster and easier than ever before. Plus, with two highly motivated visionaries leading the front, they can take the industry by storm with one common goal — to make RealEstateInvestor.com the all-solution provider of choice for real estate entrepreneurs across the nation. Gary’s Leadership style… When it comes to building and running a business, Gary believes in building on a foundation of rock. To him this means putting God first, leading through an upside-down model where the CEO is not at the top—but at the bottom serving, and building an authentically real team who reflect the values, culture, and mission of RealEstateInvestor.com. A personal look into Gary’s life… When Gary’s not working, he can be found enjoying life with his beautiful wife of 26-years and his two daughters. He has a passion for giving back through mentorship and loves to travel with his family. He’s an avid skier, rollerblade skater, and fly fisherman. When asked what his two greatest accomplishments were, his first response was helping to raise two beautiful, independent, and talented daughters. And second, being able to build an amazing business where his team is like his family, and his clients are his friends.

Pushkar goes on to openly tell us how much he loves his job, noting that everyone has strong technical skills which has taught him many things over his 7 year tenure with us.
Working at RealEstateInvestor.com has really been fantastic. I work with very proficient people. They know how to handle things, how to resolve issues. And their technical skills are really strong. – Pushkar shares.
On Life Outside Of Work
Having a busy work week, Pushkar likes to keep his schedule open and not overly planned on his days off. He enjoys playing cricket, a popular sport in India, but since the Covid pandemic hit, games have been canceled and they’re unsure of when they might start back up. This has led Pushkar to pick up a new hobby that seems to be quite popular worldwide, especially during this pandemic— watching more television.
Pushkar, who lives with his wife, two daughters and a pet dog, has enjoyed watching international television, like movies in English, or more recently, a Russian web series. He tells us his family has also enjoyed the Food Channel, although neither he nor his wife have tried any of the new recipes, they certainly love imagining what it would taste like.
Besides sports or television shows, Pushkar considers himself a real history buff. He is fascinated by geography and how countries have changed over the years. He has studied various countries including the United States, Japan, and Germany. He also enjoys documentaries and biographies, seeing video as a tool for learning more about other cultures, traditions, and current events.
On Becoming A SuperHero
It’s not everyday that someone gets to become a SuperHero. Well, that is unless you’re teammates with an author who is writing a Science Fiction series.
Pushkar’s teammate Dave DuBois of RealEstateInvestor.com was inspired by the real life Pushkar and even added a character with his name in the Sci-Fi Series that he’s writing.
SuperHero Pushkar will debut in the sequel to Escape From Earth 1 that’s currently published on Amazon. In Escape From Earth 2, Pushkar will have the superpower of invisibility, a trait that the real Pushkar connects with since he often plays the silent hero behind the scenes saving our member’s days by making sure everything runs smoothly and without a hitch.
“I was creating a character for my second book that works behind the scenes. The character doesn’t like to draw attention to himself, but has a good attitude and gets a wide variety of jobs done and is really good at his work. It reminded me of Pushkar, so I named the character after him. (The fact that the character is also an assassin is where their similarities stop.) I’ve really enjoyed working with Pushkar for the last two years and I appreciate his commitment to our members.” Dave DuBois shares about why he was inspired to write his coworker into his fiction series.
We couldn’t agree with Dave more!
Where will Pushkar be in 5-10 years?
According to Pushkar his future career sights include continuing to advance in his role with us at RealEstateInvestor.com. That is, unless he decides to take up being a SuperHero full time. He also hopes to get the opportunity to travel again with his family, and maybe even make a few of those delicious dishes he sees on his favorite cooking shows!
A Giant Thank You To The Not So Invisible Pushkar!
Even though Pushkar’s behind-the-scenes role may be invisible to the outside world, it is very much visible and appreciated by all of us in the RealEstateInvestor.com family. We’re grateful to have such an incredible team member like Pushkar as a tenured part of our global family.
Thank you Pushkar for allowing us to put you in the spotlight today!
Team Spotlight – Arun Srinivasan
To say RealEstateInvestor.com’s Marketing Director, Arun Srinivasan is a marketing guru is an understatement. With fifteen years of experience helping corporate clients leverage their digital marketing strategies, Arun has been an important part of our marketing team since 2017.
But a position in marketing was not what young Arun dreamed of when he was a child. Arun, who grew up in Anchorage, Alaska joked about how his parents of course wanted him to go into either medicine or engineering when he grew up. And since his sister became a doctor, he went the engineering route.
Having looked at colleges in the lower forty-eight states, a phrase Alaskans use often, Arun settled in the San Diego area after graduating from Cal Poly. He spent several years working as a computer engineer but recognized it was not his passion.
Arun, who considers himself creative, tells us he fell into marketing at that time. After reading about a man who posted articles online and made money selling ads, Arun started a blog with an interesting topic. With a focus on teaching men how to be better at meeting women, the blog took off. While Arun claims it was never crazy popular, he admits to having at least one post, The Power of Being Social, go viral which led him to publish an eBook on the subject.
I’m not an active investor. I’m not into the creative financing options or flipping homes, like many of my other team members do. I bought a couple of places and rented them out for cash flow. What Arun Loves About Working At RealEstateInvestor.com Working for a company with passionate visionaries is one of the best things about working at RealEstateInvestor.com according to Arun. The passion our visionaries have and share with their team is important to Arun, who appreciates that they are not only focused on how each person fits into their role within the company but whether they are happy doing so. We agree with Arun as this personal interest taken by leadership has proven that RealEstateInvestor.com is people-centric, part of our important company values.
I love the passion we get from our visionaries Gary , and from the top down. Everybody is super interested in not only growing the business but cultivating the team. This doesn’t mean making sure everyone has a title. Instead, the goal is to make sure that each team member has a role and responsibilities that fit into the machine we are building, and that we are happy doing what we do. – Arun Srinivasan, Marketing Director at RealEstateInvestor.com shares. An Interesting Marketing Tip From Arun… When asked if Arun had marketing advice for our members, he told us to test ideas. Results are often unpredictable, but most ideas are worth testing. “Whatever ideas you want to roll out, test them. You never know until you see what people react to. Sometimes bad-looking ads perform better than professional looking ones.” Arun shares. So there you have it… Sometimes those funny-looking ads with pictures that look like they were candidly taken with a cell phone actually outperform the professional ones. So if you ever run across one of our ads with a candid pic like Gary wrestling, you’ll have that extra insight on why we chose it.
The creative, personal side of Arun.
Besides playing cello, guitar, and piano, Arun loves to travel, stating Costa Rica as his favorite destination. While the recent pandemic has limited vacation options, Arun enjoyed a long weekend in Yellowstone recently, which was his first visit to Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.
As a former tennis instructor, Arun also enjoys sports and working out, which he has missed during the recent closures. However, this has given him time to practice his cooking skills. Arun tells us he frequently makes dinner for himself and girlfriend, whose compliments have encouraged him to cook more often. Hmm… Sounds like that may have been part of her marketing strategy!
People, Innovation, Accountability
Our mission at RealEstateInvestor.com isn’t just a catchy tag line, it’s what guides everything we do here. Investing in growing talent like Arun Srinivasan is just one way that we show our dedication to growing an amazing company culture. We’re grateful to have someone like Arun as an integral part of our team!
Team Spotlight – Shimpy Gaur
Shimpy Gaur is part of our global team based in New Delhi, India, where she’s held multiple roles over her six year tenure with us. Today she’s our lead admin in our finance and operations department where she assists our members with all of their billing needs. She brings with her more than fifteen years of diverse experience in operations, customer service, account management, and quality monitoring, making her a valuable part of our team.
Our team and our many members know Shimpy (who also goes by her nickname Sara) as a person who radiates positivity, helpfulness, and is friendly to everyone she gets the opportunity to interact with. One of the things she loves about working on our team is that she gets to work with many different people, including her husband Munish, whom she referred to us two years ago, helping us expand our global family, quite literally.
One of Shimpy’s other favorite things about working at RealEstateInvestor.com is that it affords her the opportunity to take on new roles and learn things that she might not otherwise get to learn if she didn’t work for a global company. Every day is different here and that’s exactly what she loves about it.
I love doing this job. It has never become monotonous for me. – Shimpy shares.
While we do have an office in New Delhi, India where Shimpy lives, her position allows her to work remotely from home like many people are doing this year. And with a 12½-hour time difference to the United States Pacific time zone, Shimpy often works well into the evening making working from home a huge workplace perk for her.
Learning More About Shimpy Gaur…
As a child, Shimpy wanted to be a doctor when she grew up because she wanted to help people, but as she progressed further along in her studies she ended up falling in love with numbers.
Opting to study accounting instead of science, Shimpy has been doing what she loves, helping people, and more specifically, RealEstateInvestor.com members.
I love helping people. I love talking to them. – She shares.
We asked Shimpy where she sees herself in five years and she shared that she sees herself working and growing with our company. With a genuine desire to grow her skillset and her career, she’s eager to take on more responsibilities as she continues to learn and grow in her career at RealEstateInvestor.com.
Since many of our team members are real estate investors themselves, we asked Shimpy if she’s had the opportunity to learn real estate investing and if she plans to utilize that knowledge in the New Delhi marketplace where she lives.
Shimpy let us know that there are a lot of differences between the U.S. Market and the market in India, but she’s still taking advantage of all she’s learning about real estate. Here’s what she shared on that:
Everything I’ve learned about real estate I learned from working at RealEstateInvestor.com and with our members. The training and what y’all do for members is unlike what we have here in our market. I feel like it’s definitely given me the opportunity to learn a skill set I wouldn’t have gotten elsewhere. I hope that one day Munish and I will be able to build some investments here in the future as well.
Sometimes getting involved in family business pays off…
Family is a big part of our “Why” behind what we do at RealEstateInvestor.com, and to Shimpy it’s equally as important. That’s why working beside her husband Munish Gaur, our Member Success Director, was a special opportunity for this couple.
While Shimpy and Munish have been REI colleagues for two years since he onboarded with us, they’re not new to working at the same company together. In fact, that’s exactly how they met 13+ years ago when they worked together for a different company. Riding in the same carpool and working together gave them time to build a friendship and as Shimpy put it, they were quite “impressed with each other.”
How did this couple end up dating you might ask?
Well, that’s a funny story…
Shimpy had mentioned Munish a few times around her family throughout the course of them working together. Enough so that her mom decided the two would need a bit of a push…
With a desire to see her daughter happy and settled down, Shimpy’s mother, and personal matchmaker so it seems, secretly searched Shimpy’s phone contacts to get Munish’s phone number unbeknownst to Shimpy. Her mom later contacted Munish to make a behind the scenes introduction, and the rest became history.
Shimpy shared that she should have known something was going on with the strange question Munish asked her one day when carpooling to work while they were still “just friends” and co-workers.
Munish had asked her if he should get her mother a gift if they ever met in person. This of course confused Shimpy briefly, but Munish quickly realized what he let slip and swiftly changed the subject.
It wasn’t until later that Shimpy learned about her mother intervening. Turns out, her mom had spoken to Munish multiple times and the family had even met with him and interviewed him well before Munish even asked Shimpy on their first date!
The interview went well of course!
More in love with each other today than when they first got married thirteen years ago, both Munish and Shimpy are grateful for her mother’s secret matchmaking.
Everything happens for a good reason. Shimpy shares the exact same sentiment that her husband shared with us during his team spotlight interview.
Shimpy considers herself fortunate to have found a partner with similar interests as hers and one her family adores. She jokes how her family might even love Munish more than they love her. (We doubt that!)
Becoming new parents on the brink of a major pandemic…
During our interview Shimpy shared about becoming a new mom on the brink of a major pandemic.
Going back to her belief that everything happens for a good reason, Shimpy went into labor with her daughter a month early, which also happened to be a month before New Delhi issued COVID-19 Stay At Home orders.
While delivering a baby early was a little scary and quite a big surprise, she was grateful that her family got to meet her daughter, whom they affectionately call Cookie, at the hospital before the lockdown began.
What does Shimpy like to do in her spare time?
Shimpy, who has an energetic personality, loves to travel and is grateful Munish loves it as much as she does. She joked that they would not have lasted together if he did not.
For Shimpy, travel is also about learning the culture.
We love, love, love to travel! We don’t go on a vacation and rush it. We can’t cover a new city or state in a short amount of time, so we stay there for a month or several weeks at a time. That’s one of the best things about both being able to work remote from anywhere in the world. – Shimpy says.
When traveling, Shimpy says her laptop is always nearby. They prefer to spend a few weeks at a destination spot when they travel, opting to rent an Airbnb from other real estate investors around the world. This gives them the opportunity to truly experience the culture and enjoy their destination as well as keep on top of their work.
Shrimpy’s favorite destination is Macau, which is considered the Las Vegas of Asia. She admits that both she and Munish enjoy gambling and playing the slot machines, so when they travel to Macau they barely use their hotel room, opting to spend as much time in the casinos as they can.
Fortunately, lady luck is on their side because Shimpy and Munish have yet to walk away from a casino in the red, something that doesn’t happen much here in the states. With winnings every time, it’s no wonder this lucky couple loves to hit the casinos!
Besides traveling, Shimpy loves spending time with her family. With so many of their extended family members living nearby, celebrating holidays and special occasions together often turns into great celebrations that can last for days at times. From weddings that span across multiple days, to holidays and celebrations that draw captivated crowds from all over the world, Shimpy said that people know how to celebrate life in India.
Speaking of celebrations, Shimpy shared with us about the Raksha Bandhan celebration that took place a few weeks ago, a celebration that celebrates the bond of family, and the bond between brother and sister. During the festivities, the sisters in the family tie a band around their brother’s wrist, and the brother takes an oath to always support her whenever she’s in need.
This year marked Shimpy and Munish’s first celebration of this festival with their daughter Cookie. While they’re saddened that they didn’t get to experience the festival in it’s normal liveliness due to the coronavirus restrictions, their family still made the most of it. They even ordered a special traditional Indian dress and a tiara for Cookie to wear during their family celebration. They all looked quite stunning!
“Dream is not that which you see while sleeping, it is something that does not let you sleep.” —Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam (The 11th President of India)
We’ll close this spotlight article by sharing Shimpy’s favorite quote. This is a quote that Shimpy said she has followed in her day to day life consistently since 2010. Here’s what this daily mantra that Shimpy lives by means to her personally.
“This mantra speaks to me as I read it as having a goal in life that drives you towards achieving something meaningful. Something that makes an impact. I am passionate about my work and having a life where I am valued for what I do, while also having a wonderful life with my family at home. I have this on the top of my head all the time as it’s a mantra and goal that keeps driving me forward. I have literally followed this in my day to day life since 2010.”
Thank you Shimpy!
Thank you Shimpy for taking the time to open up and allowing us to spotlight you as one of our valuable tenured team members. We’re fortunate to have you as part of our team!
Team Spotlight – Munish Gaur
A self proclaimed “people person,” Munish has directed teams of more than 100 associates and brings over 15 years of diverse experience across operations, business development, client management, and project management to our team.
To say Munish’s schedule can be hectic is an understatement. Munish and his family live in New Delhi, India, yet he and his wife, Shimpy Gaur who also works for us at RealEstateInvestor.com, maintain a work schedule in the United States Pacific time zone. With a 12½-hour time difference, they work well into the night when many Americans are just starting their day.
Munish, who has been with RealEstateInvestor.com since 2018, has over 15 years of diverse experience across operations, business development, client management, and project management. He credits his experiences in banking with Barclays Bank PLC & Projects with Ernst & Young as preparation for his role with RealEstateInvestor.com.
“What I learned all these years in past organizations and what I was provided… that was preparing me for this role.” – Munish Gaur
Munish also credits his wife with introducing him to RealEstateInvestor.com when a position opened that was the perfect fit for him. After several lengthy interviews, including an hour long interview with founder Gary Boomershine, the team agreed with Shimpy, Munish was a perfect fit.
An offer was made and the rest is history.
Life Of A Team Member Working With RealEstateInvestor.com
Working with like-minded individuals is important to Munish who is just one member of the RealEstateInvestor.com team located in India. Though there is an office in New Delhi, Munish mostly works from home. It allows him to be more productive and has given him the flexibility to spend extra time with family, including his newborn daughter that he affectionately calls Cookie.
Being part of a team is critical, according to Munish who is responsible for escalation and client retention. He admits to spending considerable time each day on calls with his team. Munish feels it is important to connect with people. He’s managed teams of up to 100 associates, so you could say he’s a bit of a “people person.”
Everybody has a story. – Munish Gaur shares about why he loves helping people.
Teams composed of people with different backgrounds teach us many things. Everyone is different. They are different types of people with different cultures, and even different kinds of food. This diversity helps individuals learn and see other viewpoints. Munish finds this fascinating and part of why he loves working with our company.
There’s a lot that one can learn from working in teams. Everyone comes from different backgrounds and diverse cultures. If we keep our ears and eyes open, we can actually learn and be a better self. – Munish Gaur shares about the importance of diversity in company culture.
What Munish Wishes Every Real Estate Investor Knew…
Relying on your RealEstateInvestor.com team to help you learn and grow your business is key. However, according to Munish, not all members take advantage of all of the tools offered.
Training is one of the things that Munish believes sets RealEstateInvestor.com apart from many of the other companies on the market today. This includes the free training we provide on our Real Estate Investor Facebook Page and through our REI Huddle Podcast.
With the ability to have free access to so many resources, including experts who are making 7-figures in real estate today, in this market, real estate entrepreneurs have the keys to growing faster, better, and smarter businesses easily accessible at their fingertips.
The Importance Of Attending Live Webinars and Training Events.
Munish is actually our behind the scenes guy on all of our live training webinars that we offer, so he sees the value being shared consistently during these events. He pointed out that while many of our free training webinars and Q&A’s are recorded for convenience, nothing beats being on the webinar live.
This is something he’s very passionate about, especially when it comes to our Members Only training events. These are recorded and always uploaded inside our members’ portals, but he feels like real estate entrepreneurs should utilize the live training sessions much more often than they do.
People have paid for this program and they should be attending the live session and asking live questions to get the most out of it… Though they can listen to a recording later in many cases, nothing beats the live sessions. – Munish Gaur
Entrepreneurs Can Benefit From Their Peers.
Besides being able to ask questions to experts during our live calls and webinars, members have an opportunity to share their experiences with the team and learn from other members’ stories, too. The more members actively participating, the more fruitful for all parties. Think Mastermind or Meetup Groups, but on an even more close knit level. There’s so much that we can learn from our peers around the nation who are using the same tools and services to find success in their businesses.
Not only are performance or tech coaches there to teach, they are there to share situations… I could share something or the person that actually lived that situation, could… and help each other. That’s how it should work. That they help each other. The more people we have, the merrier.– Munish Gaur
Munish stressed the importance of learning from one another’s experiences and would like to see members make the most out of the program, and the many benefits we have to offer real estate investors and agents.
Curiosity and Wonder Are Top Tier Strengths We Look For In Our Team Members.
Munish was exposed to all kinds of processes during his career, from development of technology as part of IT teams to how people used the software created. He did rigorous testing on platforms and enjoyed seeing how backend coding done in one corner of the world could handle worldwide transactions.
His experience opened positions and projects where he worked directly with various levels of management and executive personnel.
You can talk to anybody if you know what you need to ask. – Munish Gaur
Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
Munish admits to being as curious as a child and asking many questions throughout his entire life. As a project manager, he spoke with executive level managers regularly. It gave him a solid foundation to ask questions regardless of who he was talking to.
I asked the right questions at the right time. It’s a habit. It doesn’t matter who you are sitting with… CEO or an agent, if you need to ask questions, you should. – Munish Gaur shared.
Munish is a great example of having curiosity and wonder, two of the values we very much look for when it comes to seeking members to join our innovative team at RealEstateInvestor.com.
The Importance Of Service And Having A Willingness To Help.
This holds true with RealEstateInvestor.com as well. Members are encouraged to ask questions, to explore, and to learn.
To Munish, it doesn’t matter who you are speaking with. What matters is that you understand the individual’s situation and help as best as you can. That’s what RealEstateInvestor.com is all about. Helping each other find success faster and easier.
We need to understand what their situation is and then help them as best we can. That’s our motto and is the kind of value our CEO’s have clearly demonstrated for this organization. – Munish Gaur
The Value of Learning From Other Cultures And Building Lifelong Experiences.
While Munish has a master’s degree in Human Resources, he credits his life experiences as further expanding his education.
Munish claims that having had the opportunity to interact with people from different backgrounds in the United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, and Australia, has also brought learning experiences. He credits a year long trip to England when he was 25 years old as being an eye-opener.
I thought I had doubled my 25 years of life experience with the kind of exposure I got (during that one year in the U.K.)… If you just observe, you see… how people live in a different country or even different city… It’s interesting how people think differently in different countries. – Munish Gaur shared excitedly and earnestly when talking about learning from different people and cultures.
A Culture Of Fun and Family.
Two values we care about at RealEstateInvestor.com is having fun and prioritizing family and friends. We want this not only for our team members, but for our members too. That’s why we’re always looking for ways to streamline processes and take more of the little jobs off real estate entrepreneurs plates. That way they can do less work and spend more time enjoying life.
We asked Munish about his life in New Delhi and what he enjoyed doing for fun…
When not working, Munish and his wife enjoy traveling and trying new cuisines. So far, his favorite place is England. He found Edinburgh to be peaceful and green and he loved the culture and history he found there.
Munish and his wife celebrated a new year in a new country for the past several years until recently when his wife was expecting. Munish and his wife, Shimpy, welcomed a daughter earlier this year, a month sooner than originally expected.
A couple weeks after his daughter’s birth, the Covid-19 pandemic happened, and their city was put on lockdown. He feels grateful to have had his daughter a month early to where his family was able to see her before the lockdown began.
Everything happens for a reason. That’s the kind of faith I believe in. – Munish Gaur shares about the birth of his daughter during an unprecedented time for the entire world.
Even after spending more than 100 days in his home with his wife and newborn baby girl, Munish says he feels loved and blessed. Everything worked out. They were fortunate to enjoy family time with their newborn who they named Aadriti, which means ray of light.
Everything has fallen in the right place at the right time. We were lucky to have her at the right time. – Munish Gaur shares again.
Munish is a doting father and husband, and he’s looking forward to traveling again soon, and this time sharing those experiences with his daughter, as well.
What’s Munish’s Favorite Thing About Working At RealEstateInvestor.com? (Besides Working With His Wife!)
Without hesitation, Munish told us he loves the culture and the people at RealEstateInvestor.com who are now more like an extended family. With only 24 hours in a day and 8 of them asleep, on average, Munish indicated he spends more time with coworkers like most people in careers do.
(You) interact with them much more than you actually do with your family. They become your second family. – Munish Gaur shares.
One of Munish’s favorite experiences was when our founder Gary Boomershine and our CFO Wayne Jarrett visited the team in India and went on many adventures together. He’s looking forward to the next trip and is grateful to be part of a community that values all of their talented team members across the world.
Being part of a global community with RealEstateInvestor.com.
Munish said that nothing beats interacting with your team and sharing experiences to understand where they are coming from. While the lingo may change, you are not just sharing words, you are also sharing emotions.
Love the people you work with and it will be fun! – Munish Gaur
Munish… we couldn’t agree more! We’re grateful to have such an amazing team in India, and an awesome team member like Munish… And of course his wife Shimpy too! (Her story will be coming soon!)

Q&A: Getting to know Master Coach Willie Hooks
During our interview with Willie we asked him several quick “get to know you” questions. Here are a few of our favorite responses we received.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about working with our RealEstateInvestor.com coaching clients?
A: I’m passionate about helping my clients grow, develop, transform, achieve, and succeed in business and in life. In fact, the legacy that I leave lives with all the people I have helped to grow, develop, transform, achieve, and succeed. Those are great key words to be remembered by.
Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A:As a kid I wanted to be a professional athlete or a highly decorated soldier. Which is probably one of the reasons why I joined the military at the age of 17— to serve my country and to fulfill that childhood dream. After serving for three years in the military, I decided to get out and pursue a career in computer technology, where I earned a degree in that field and later earned an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
Q: When you’re not working, what do you love to do?
A:I’m an avid reader, a movie enthusiast, and I love playing basketball… Even if I’m not as good as I used to be at it. As the old saying goes, “The older I get, the better I was.”
Q: How do you start your day in the morning?
A: When my alarm goes off in the morning I wake up, get up, and start my morning routine. The mornings are a great time to imprint new success behavioral patterns within the neural pathways of our brain.
Part of my morning routine, the thing that you might find funny or quirky, is that I do a short five minute primal scream exercise to release any negative tension within my body and to clear the cobwebs out of my brain that may have accumulated throughout the night.
Primal screaming, is just yelling out loud at the top of your voice the first thing that comes to mind, and at the same time visualizing negative tension, stress, and anxiety being released from your body and flowing out into the universe where the healing light can cleanse it.
Q: What’s one of the common misconceptions about coaching?
A: A lot of people say that the coach holds you accountable. I’d rather say that a coach helps you build an accountability system, because the coach is partnering with you. It’s not a parent child relationship, it’s a support buddy system.
A coach will help you build an accountability system and a motivational system that you can utilize to hold yourself accountable in order to achieve the results you’ve dreamed of achieving.
Q: What makes our coaching program unique and different from other coaching programs?
A: Willie took the time to share his answer to this question in this short video clip below.
When all is said and done, more will be said than done! – Willie Hooks Master Coach, from our REInvent Coaching Program at RealEstateInvestor.com
Team Spotlight – Darren Wassell
An inside look at what Darren’s team does for our members.
Darren and his team onboard new members, host strategic planning sessions, and stay in consistent contact with each of our members through regularly scheduled account review calls. Their goal as a team is to set members up for optimum success. Here are Darren’s thoughts on his team’s role.
“We help our members by staying in consistent contact with them. That means watching for signs of trouble and looking for strategic growth opportunities. Our main goal is to help our members close more deals. If they close more deals, they make more money. And if they make more money, naturally they will continue working with us.” —Darren Wassell
Darren has a passion for both real estate and entrepreneurism, and it shows.
Darren’s love for both real estate and entrepreneurism makes him a great culture fit for our company and an enthusiastic advocate for our members. Here’s what Darren has to say about what he loves most about his job.
“There’s something truly rewarding about getting to see an entrepreneur’s business grow in real time. I talk to all of our managed service members on a quarterly basis. That’s over 300 talented real estate investors who range from novice to expert in experience. Being in regular contact with so many investors gives us great insight on tips and techniques that are working right now across the country. My absolute favorite part of this job is when I get to see the needle move after a member implements a strategic plan we build together. Seeing this happen and being a part of helping an entrepreneur hit their goals is exciting!” —Darren Wassell
His thoughts on the recent merger between REIvault and InvestorPO.
When Gary Boomershine chose to merge his businesses into the powerhouse full-scope platform that’s now called REIgnyte, it drummed up a lot of excitement and change. We asked Darren for the inside scoop and what he thought of the merger. Here’s what he had to say.
“We’re all super excited about it because we at REIvault have always had excellent managed services with an “okay” technology piece. InvestorPO had the incredible technology and CRM piece we needed. Apart we were both good, but together we’re great! As the Director of Client Services, I love that we can now offer our members the best of both worlds and help them produce even better results than we could before.” —Darren Wassell
Here’s a tip for struggling real estate investors from Darren Wassell.
We asked Darren if he could give a tip to a struggling real estate investor, what would it be. This tip was spot on!
“The fortune’s in the follow up. We as investors are all ready to buy houses today and every day. But most sellers aren’t ready to sell their house until sometime in the future. Few are ready now. So the key is to connect with them, build rapport and credibility, and educate them. If they’re ready to sell now, that’s great! If not, follow up, follow up, follow up, until that seller is ready to sell. If you’re in front of them when they’re finally ready to sell in the future, that’s when you’ll get the deal. Most investors don’t have the patience or time to stay with sellers until they’re ready to sell. While the people who do, make the most money.” —Darren Wassell

Team Spotlight – Julia Jordan
Julia embodies the belief that there are no problems, only solutions.
Born and raised in Texas—where she still lives today— Julia considers herself to be a strong Southern girl to the core. As a kid, Julia always dreamed of being an amazing wife and at-home mother when she grew up. And that’s exactly what she did. For 25 years Julia was the VP of the “Jordan Home Team,” where she took part in some of the most rigorous on the ground solution-focused training that life has to offer.
“Being a stay at home mom gave me an enormous education base and on the ground training in team building, problem solving, relationship fostering, event planning, leadership, life coaching, and so much more. I was the VP of the Jordan Home Team, with an excellent track record and 25 years of perfect attendance.” —Julia Jordan, Senior Director of Success
Julia loved her career as a wife and mother and never expected to have to work outside of the home. But, life threw her family a curveball in 2002 when her husband became one of the 30,000 innocent employees who lost everything after the infamous WorldCom accounting scandal and bankruptcy filing. Along with thousands of people, Julia’s family lost not only the income and benefits their family depended on, but every single penny they had saved for retirement.
Faced with needing to take her career outside of the home, Julia pulled herself up by the bootstraps and got to working on a solution. That solution was real estate, and it’s ultimately what led her to RealEstateInvestor.com. (Read her full real estate investing story here.)
Julia’s focused on making a measurable difference at RealEstateInvestor.com.

Her passion for relationship fostering, coaching, and encouraging are among the many admirable traits that make her a beloved part of our company and our community. Our sales ninja’s may live across the world, but Julia always makes them feel like they’re just as much a part of our family here. During these calls, Julia makes sure our sales ninjas are happy, pumped up, and that they have all the training and resources they need in order to land more qualified sellers for our members.
We asked Julia what she loves most about our company, here’s what she said:
“Our culture and our core values is what makes our company great. We have an interwoven team atmosphere where we’re all willing to jump in and help each other. We understand that everything we do is for the combined result of the company. We work hard, but we have fun too. I love that we’re a bottom up company, versus a top down. We take input and go and do things based on that philosophy. That allows us to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be. At the end of the day, we’re all part of one big family. That’s what keeps us outwardly focused and committed to making a measurable difference in each other’s lives and in the lives of our members.” —Julia Jordan, Senior Director of Success
Let’s get personal! Getting to know Julia Jordan.
Julia is a southern girl to the core who lives with her husband on a 25-acre ranch in North Texas. In true real estate investor fashion, she leases out 22 of those acres to a neighboring rancher as a grazing lease for his herd of cows and one stubborn mule. Julia starts her day off at 5am with a cup of coffee in one hand and her Bible in the other. She’s powered by Jesus and energized by spending quality time with the people she loves. When she’s not working, Julia can be found spoiling her grandkids, devouring books, cooking southern dishes, or working in her garden. She affectionately refers to “porch time” as one of her favorite ways to partake in self-care. Porch time includes unwinding on her oversized porch where she can watch the animals graze from her favorite rocking chair.

We Asked Julia: If you could have any super power, what super power would you choose and why?
Julia Answered: “I feel like the Holy Spirit in me is my super power and I don’t really need another one.”
