About Me

I have been rehabbing properties with my husband since 2004. It has been a lot of learning, not always good. We do most of the work ourselves. I am trying to get into the wholesaleing aspect of RE and just started attending a REI club in January 2008. We started buying houses to fix up after my mother died in a tornado in 2003. She loved working on houses!

I love to travel, but we haven't really had the time or money to do any travel lately.

I've been married for 4 years and I have one son that will be 21 in May. He wants to learn about RE investing and start his own business. I am also a licensed practical nurse, but I don't work as one much any more. We aren't early morning people, but we do love late nights.

My Business

My business is called Creative Housing Investments, LLC.

We are currently working on 2 houses. We have properties, but no real cash flow. I'd like to learn more about wholesaling and short sales. I am looking for private lenders to be able to move on RE faster. Private lenders will be looking at a 10-12% return on their money. I love that we do quality work on an old house and turn it into a newer home for someone. We don't do just minor cosmetic fixes and call it rehabbed!

My husband also has his own company for neon and signs. It is called Creative Neon by Neon Mike, LLC. He also does rehab and fences and roofs for other people along with a friend of his.
